Aldi restricts sales of latest kitchen Specialbuy that’s £100 cheaper than Ninja

The Ninja air fryer has recently racked up much popularity amid the cost of living crisis as Brits have ditched their conventional ovens in favour of the energy saving, compact countertop devices that cut cooking time and save money on bills. But at £149, they certainly aren’t cheap to buy, and are an investment many currently can’t afford.

This weekend Aldi has launched a Specialbuy that’s a third of the price of the leading brand - priced at under £50.

A few weeks ago the German supermarket restocked their £34.99 nifty 3L airfryer, which sold out in a matter of days. But for slightly bigger families, they’ve now released a brand new 5L air fryer - and they’re expecting it to be so popular, they’ve restricted the sales to two per shopper.

A note on the retailer’s website says: “Please note: orders are restricted to 2 per person for this product and you will not be able to add more than 2 units to your basket.”

The Ambiano air fryer costs £49.99, which is nearly £100 less than the comparable Ninja AF160UK Max Air Fryer, which has a 5.2L capacity.

The kitchen gadget offers a digital touch screen panel with 12 preset programs and a preheat function, with a temperature range from 80 to 200 degrees.

The Aldi air fryer - which serves four people - is even cheaper than the 5L Tower air fryer, which is currently £64.99 at Boots, as well as the 5.2L Salter device, which comes in at £69.99 at Robert Dyas.

There is a £42.99 air fryer available on Amazon, too, however, it doesn’t have the digital touchscreen, making Aldi’s appear more sophisticated for the extra £7.
