Nottingham Forest have agreed personal terms with Liverpool’s young full-back Neco Williams.

That’s according to Football Insider, who claim that Jurgen Klopp could sell the defender following the recent signing of Calvin Ramsay.

Forest have agreed personal terms already with the defender and now must agree on a fee with the Merseyside club.

Williams is keen to join the newly-promoted side, however, they are currently unwilling to pay Liverpool’s £15m asking price who will green light a sale if that fee is met.

The news emerges with Forest also close to signing Moussa Niakhate per Fabrizio Romano.

It seems that Djed Spence may end up being just too expensive for Steve Cooper to bring him back to Forest.

He impressed last season with his athleticism and technical ability down the right-hand side, scoring two and assisting five as the Tricky Trees earned promotion through the playoffs.

However, with his absence all but guaranteed, the Forest boss appears to have found another forward-thinking full-back who could certainly replace this output.

Highly-rated Liverpool youngster Williams got his first real taste of first-team football last season, with a six-month loan spell at Championship winners Fulham. He featured just 14 times, but in that time managed two goals and two assists.
