AEW: Top champion wants to defend title in multiple promotions.

It appears that the AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa has big plans with her title reign as she looks to step through the forbidden door with the championship.

Rosa is one of the most impressive athletes on the AEW roster and earlier this month she reached the pinnacle of AEW when she captured the AEW Women’s title from Dr. Britt Baker inside of a steel cage.

It appears that La Mera Mera is looking to take on all comers and defend the AEW Women’s Championship anytime, anyplace anywhere as she sets her sights worldwide.

Rosa was recently a guest on the Throwing Down with Miesha Tate and Renee Paquette podcast where she went into more detail about the locations in which she wants to take her championship.

Rosa stated that the two main places she would love to take her title to would be Japan and Mexico.

Thunder wants to revolutionise professional wrestling further with AEW and do stuff that “people haven’t done before”. She followed things up by saying that AEW has already done things with Japan so it would be interesting, especially with Rosa’s connections and history with Japan and more specifically the company Tokyo Joshi Pro. Rosa also has a big history with promotions in Mexico as well.

What we do no is La Mera Mera isn’t planning on dropping the championship anytime soon and we could be in store for a long, fighting title reign.

You can watch AEW internationally on FITE TV.
