AEW: Toni Storm is ALL ELITE.

Last nights AEW Dynamite saw one of the biggest free agents currently in professional wrestling officially become ALL ELITE.

It was revealed a few days ago that the first qualifying match for the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament would see The Bunny go one-on-one with a mystery opponent, which would be a new signee to the AEW roster.

The Dynamite South Carolina crowd erupted when none other than Toni Strom’s music hit and she emerged to take on the Bunny and cement her place in the tournament.

Storm would knock off the Bunny after hitting her with the signature Storm Zero to become the first official participant to have qualified for the tournament.

This is the first appearance Toni Storm has made on television since her WWE release back on the 29th of December 2021. During her time in the WWE, Storms most notable accolade was that she held the NXT UK Championship for an impressive 231 days.

Storm became the latest WWE release to go to AEW. Previous acquisitions include Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish, Malakai Black, Keith Lee, Ruby Soho, and more.

Ruby Soho expressed her excitement for Storms arrival on Twitter.

Former AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker also showed her appreciation for Storm by quote tweeting and resurfacing an appreciation tweet the day Storm was released from WWE.

There are plenty of dream matches for Storm in the company and there is no doubt that she will be on the radar of everyone in the women’s division, even more so after she disposed of The Bunny.
