It has been reported online that a huge free agent in professional wrestling wants to go toe-to-toe with two of AEW’s top stars.
In an interview with Busted Open Radio, former WWE superstar and commentator Samoa Joe revealed who in AEW he wants to get the opportunity to work with.
The two AEW stars that Joe would like to work with are former AEW World Champion, Jon Moxley, and Powerhouse Hobbs.
When speaking about Powerhouse Hobbs, Joe only had good things to say about the young star stating that he
“There’s a lot of ceiling he hasn’t even begun to reach yet”.
It would be interesting to see Joe in an angle with Hobbs and Team Taz due to his brief history with Taz over the years.
On the other hand, when it came to Moxley, Joe described that he;
“Never got a clean crack at Mox”.
Joe has been a free agent ever since his release in early 2022 and the end of his non-compete clause seems to be on the horizon. With the purchase of ROH recently in which Joe is considered a pioneer of the brand, he could be swayed into a potential angle involving AEW. However, it is still unclear where Samoa Joe will end up.
