AEW Rampage Results: Brody King dominates to earn shot at AEW World Title

Last night’s AEW Rampage saw Jon Moxley’s first challenger decided in the first-ever Royal Rampage match. Also, the AEW World Tag Team Champions, The Young Bucks, were in action.

Plus, Toni Storm and Nyla Rose collided in a huge main event.

How the match works is that two participants compete in the blue ring, and two compete in the red ring. Another participant will be assigned to each after a countdown until all 20 participants have come down (10 in each).

The rules are similar to the Casino Battle Royale, where each competitor has to be thrown over the top rope to be eliminated.

The red ring saw former AEW World Champion Hangman Adam Page kick things off with Team Taz’s Powerhouse Hobbs, and in the blue, Darby Allin and Tony Nese started things off.

The match also saw the debut of La Faccion Ingobernables, Rush. He demonstrated his stiff, strong wrestling style, taking the fight to everyone in the red ring. However, a low blow to rival Penta Oscuro on the apron would backfire as Penta would bring Rush with him as they were both eliminated.

The shock of the match saw the House Of Black’s Brody King eliminate favourite Hangman Adam Page, making him and Darby Allin the final two.

King would waste no time and instantly take the fight to Allin, rocking him with a vicious cannonball in the corner.

Darby would fight back and almost win the match but would fall into the clutches of King on the apron where the powerhouses dangled his opponent off the apron with a sleeperhold
