AEW: FTR talk potentially adding more tag team gold to their collection

FTR are at the peak of their tag team careers, considered as one of the greatest tag teams of the modern generation, they have done almost everything any competitor could dream of in the professional wrestling career.

Speaking on The Battleground Podcast, Dax and Cash discussed their current success as well as what is next for FTR in the world of professional wrestling.

FTR has had an unbelievable six months, adding the ROH and IWGP tag team championships to become 7-star FTR, but these stars could continue to grow with them not ruling out going to more companies and capturing more tag team gold.

FTR has been speculated for a while if they would ever consider going to companies like IMPACT Wrestling and NWA to challenge for the tag titles, as it would make sense if they were going to carry on capturing gold on their journey to being the best tag team in the business. 

However, their main priority has been revealed in the past that they would love to recapture the AEW World Tag Team Championships and become 2x champions. 

When talking about NWA and IMPACT, Dax and Cash stated that if “the money was right”, they “got the green light from Tony Khan”, and “the moment was right”, then they would happily challenge for the IMPACT Tag Team Championships and the NWA Tag Team Championships.

Cash also expressed that he has a specific interest in the NWA United States Tag Team titles that are being brought back soon. 

It is unknown as of now what FTR’s next steps are, but what we do know is that they have to defend their titles against one of ROH’s best in The Briscoes who have invoked their rematch clause for a 2 out of 3 falls match at tonight’s ROH Death Before Dishonor.
