AEW Dynamite: All-Atlantic Championship qualifier scheduled for Road Rager special

The introduction of the new All-Atlantic Championship sent shockwaves through the wrestling world, and now a highly anticipated qualifier will take place this Wednesday on the Road Rager special edition of Dynamite.

In the announcement of the new All-Atlantic Championship, it was revealed that there will be a series of qualifier matches where the winners will face off in a 4-way match at AEW X NJPW’s huge crossover show Forbidden Door to determine the inaugural champion.

The premise of the new championship is to say thank you and have something to show for the fans who watch AEW all over the world, as well as give a roster packed full of talent another reason to push for something in the company.

The bracket featured the likes of The House Of Black’s Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews, Death Triangle’s Penta Oscuro and Pac, and Ethan Page and Miro.

The first qualifier took place on Dynamite between Pac and Buddy Matthews. Both men displayed a hard-hitting technical contest which ultimately saw Pac emerge the victor after planting Matthews with the Black Arrow.

However, Dynamite Road Rager, this Wednesday will see the second of four qualifiers as Ethan Page goes one-on-one with Miro.

The other half of The Men Of The Year, Scorpio Sky, currently holds the TNT Championship. Now Ethan Page has the opportunity to add more gold to The Men Of The Year and American Top Team.

However, he will have to come up against Miro, who disposed of Johnny Elite in a dominant fashion.

Ethan Page made a comment about the upcoming bout during a segment on Dynamite and claimed that he will wave the flag of Canada as he wins the All-Atlantic Title at Forbidden Door and that Miro will pray to him.
