AEW Double Or Nothing match card confirmed

Last night on AEW’s Twitter multiple matches were confirmed for the highly anticipated Double Or Nothing PPV, taking place on the 29th of May in Las Vegas.

Double of Nothing is shaping up to be potentially the wrestling event of the year, and AEW won’t be slowing down as they have the NJPW crossover show Forbidden Door next month.

The event will be taking place next Sunday, May 29th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, this is the first time the Double Or Nothing Pay-Per-View has taken place in Vegas since AEW’s inaugural Double Or Nothing PPV.

Here are the matches confirmed so far:

‘Hangman’ Adam Page ( c ) v CM Punk – AEW World Championship

Prior to this, both men have been portrayed as two of the top faces in AEW. However, in recent weeks they have shown glimpses of attitude change and incorporating conventional heel tactics to play mind games with one another.

Page has made it clear verbally that he doesn’t respect Punk and that he is going to embarrass and destroy the Best In The World. Whereas Punk has made it clear that there is no chance Page walks out of Double Or Nothing with the AEW World Championship.

Both men have also used each other’s finishing manoeuvres to defeat opponents in warm-up matches leading into Double Or Nothing.

Punk is ready to reclaim the top prize in a professional wrestling company, whereas Page wants to add potentially the biggest name to the list of victims he has beaten during his impressive title reign.

Thunder Rosa v Serena Deeb – AEW Women’s World Championship

Rosa after ending one of the greatest AEW Women’s Title reigns in the company’s history as she defeated Britt Baker at St. Patricks Day Slam to claim her first-ever AEW World Championship, reaching the top of the AEW
