'Adverse analytical findings' - Anthony Joshua fight is cancelled due to Dillian Whyte VADA test result
Anthony Johsua's heavyweight encounter with Dillian Whyte has been cancelled.
Matchroom promoters confirmed that the fight was off as a result of "adverse analytical findings" in a random VADA test for Whyte.
The fight was scheduled for Saturday, 12 August at the O2 Arena in London.
A statement released by Matchroom read: "Today, the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) informed Matchroom, the Association of Boxing Commissions and the British Boxing Board of Control that Dillian Whyte had returned adverse analytical findings as part of a random anti-doping protocol.
"In light of this news, the fight will be cancelled, and a full investigation will be conducted."
