Adrien Rabiot to Man Utd: Lou Macari slams move in MUTV rant
Manchester United appear to be closing in on the signing of Adrien Rabiot.
According to the Mirror, United have agreed a £15m deal with Juventus for the services of the French midfielder.
United’s s football director, John Murtough, was in Turin this evening for negotiations with Rabiot’s mother and agent, Veronique.
Many United supporters haven’t exactly been thrilled after learning of the club’s interest in the 27-year-old.
And Lou Macari is one man who shares that opinion.
The 73-year-old, who played for Man United for 11 years from 1973-1984, appeared on the club’s TV channel, MUTV, as a studio guest on Friday afternoon.
Macari was asked to discuss United’s spending this summer. But, instead of speaking positively, he took the opportunity to slate his former club.
He went on a scathing rant and you can view it bleow…
