Adidas' new £300 Swarovski crystals boots to be worn by PL stars, including Pogba & Jota

Gone are the days of basic black football boots, as Adidas has now added Swarovski crystals to the Predator Edges, which will be worn by Premier League stars.

Diamonds and football aren’t two words normally associated with each other, but Adidas is looking to change that notion with its new ‘Crystal+’ boots.

The boots not only come with Swarovski diamonds, but also with a limited edition olive/silver and magic lime colour scheme, really giving them a premium edge.

The crystals have been added to Adidas’ signature three stripes on the boot, as can be seen below. The boot also features a two-piece Primeknit collar, zone skin rubber control zones and polygonal graphics.

The boots, which do look pretty unique, are available to pre-order now, but they won’t come cheap, setting you back £300 for the firm ground boots.

However, it’s important to note that Adidas has said that it’s possible that the Swarovski crystals on the stripes and the chrome on the soleplate “wear off during play”, but stresses that this “will not affect the performance of the product”.

You’ll be lucky to get your hands on the boots though, which are completely laceless by the way, as Adidas has only produced 300 pairs.

The boots are also set to be worn by a host of Premier League stars, including Man United’s Paul Pogba and Liverpool striker Diogo Jota.

The reaction to the boots has been rather revealing, with many fans seemingly embracing their inner Graeme Souness while reacting to the news.
