Adama Traore moves one step closer to Barcelona transfer as he is spotted by reporters

Fellow Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspur tried to sign the winger but their £15million offer was rebuffed this month.

According to reports, Spurs were looking to improve their offer to £20m before Barca took over.

The 26-year-old is set for a return to Camp Nou where he spent nine seasons during his youth career between 2004 to 2013.

Reporters were waiting for the winger today as he arrived at a Barcelona hospital to complete his medical ahead of a loan move.

The medical should be finalised today, although it remains unknown when he will be officialised by Xavi Iniesta's side.

Traore had made 20 appearances under Bruno Lage this campaign, scoring a single goal.

He is now set to join the Spanish giants for the rest of the season with Barca holding an option to buy for £30million.
