Aaron Chalmers addresses Jake Paul and Tommy Fury after professional boxing debut

Aaron Chalmers has his eyes on securing a fight against Jake Paul and Tommy Fury after marking his boxing debut with a points win over Alexander Zeledon.

The 35-year-old claimed his first win since making the transition from MMA to the boxing ring. In the build-up to his first bout, there was speculation surrounding fights with YouTube star Paul and Fury.

During fight-week Anthony 'PrettyBoy' Taylor replied to the former reality star after Chalmers tweeted: "What’s happening @anthony_foreal I see your boy @jakepaul is fighting in august!! My diary is free if you wana [sic] get this fight on his undercard just let me know."

The American replied: "You not ready for me!! This is the big league and ill knock you out. You dodged me in @BellatorMMA." And despite remaining coy on putting a date when he will get in the ring with either Fury or Paul, he admitted he eyes touching gloves with the former MMA fighter.

Speaking after his win in Liverpool, Chalmers revealed: "If I get five or six this year, a couple of four rounders into six then we can start looking at them. I don't want run before I can walk but I'd love them, if I get six fights this year then 2023 could be on the cards.

"I'd like to build up to him [Jake Paul]. I'd like to fight Jake Paul's sparring partner Anthony Taylor then onto Tommy [Fury] then onto Jake, it's a long way away, I'll keep going in there, keep winning then I think them doors will open up."

On the fight, after a "sloppy" start, Chalmers said he was pleased with the outcome, adding: "Really enjoyed it, the Liverpool crowd gave us a really warm welcome, I've been a lot of places where I haven't had such a good welcome.
