8 Premier League players who Birmingham City should consider loaning in this summer
Championship side Birmingham City have recruited reasonably well since Lee Bowyer has been at the helm, though it hasn’t exactly paid dividends in elevating them up the second-tier table.
However, two temporary additions in Onel Hernandez and Lyle Taylor back in January helped the West Midlands side to get themselves over the line as they escaped the drop despite their poor form during the latter stages of the season.
Quite frankly, their recruitment needs to be spot on once again if they are to have any hope of recording an improved finish next term, especially when considering the fact this season’s loanees have departed and the likes of Kristian Pedersen and Jeremie Bela are set to depart on the expiration of their contracts this summer.
However, the second-tier side may be working within a limited budget again depending on whether a takeover is sealed or not, so full use of the loan market may be required once more.
And with this in mind, we’re taking a look at eight Premier League players they should consider bringing in on a temporary basis.
