We're into the final week of the Premiership campaign - but already the clock is ticking on the Rangers takeover.

And that has got Robert Livingstone, Palm Beach, sweating. He said: “If true we have to wait till middle of June for the new manager to be announced, that's five minutes to midnight for Rangers, who have so much to do in a very short time.
"The new owners aren’t doing Rangers any favours with their silence. The rumour mill is going overdrive with the names of a dozen managers tumbling about.
“It certainly doesn't bode well if, as Dave King suggests, it'll be mid-June before that decision is made. It's a recipe for disaster. Any new manager needs time to put a side together and signings need time to settle in.
“There’s precious little of that with European qualifiers coming up fast. Barry Ferguson is quite right, a manager should've been named well before the takeover is finalised, even if it probably won't be him.”
Joey Vimsante had a suggestion for Andrew Cavenagh and the 49ers: “I’d be happy for Barry Ferguson to be Rangers manager. But the record of Kjetil Knutsen at Bodø/Glimt is incredible.
“Rangers should do everything they can to get him as boss. Spend what it takes, and get any players he wants. He plays attacking, aggressive football that Rangers fans would enjoy.”
