Tottenham Hotspur secured a vital win on Sunday evening after battling past West Ham United 3-1 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to keep the pressure on Arsenal in 4th.

Spurs took an early lead after Kurt Zouma turned the ball into his own net. Just 15 minutes later they had a two goal lead as Heung-min Son fired home to give Spurs some comfort. Their situation was made a little less comfortable when Said Benrahma halved the deficit before the break.

The game wasn’t settled until late on in the second period when Son doubled his tally for the afternoon to boost Spurs’ top four hopes.

Although Spurs have played a game more than Arsenal who occupy 4th, they’re now just three points behind in 5th but have played a game more. Sunday’s win was vital to keep them in contention for the top four as Antonio Conte’s men kept the pressure on their North London rivals.
