2025 NBA draft: First-, second-round pick order - ESPN
The NBA draft lottery took place on Monday and changed the upcoming NBA landscape in a big way.
The Utah Jazz (17-65), Washington Wizards (18-64) and Charlotte Hornets (19-63) each had a 14% chance of landing the No. 1 pick, but it was the Dallas Mavericks who took home the top pick despite just 1.8% odds at earning the first spot. The Philadelphia 76ers (24-58) finished in the top six with the third pick, which they will now retain from the Oklahoma City Thunder since the pick was top-six protected. The San Antonio Spurs will have the No. 2 pick in the upcoming draft, while the Hornets round out the top four.
The Jazz and Wizards tumbled down to the No. 5 and No. 6 picks, respectively, despite being tied for the best lottery odds with the Hornets.
The Mavericks will now have a chance to select Duke's Cooper Flagg, the perceived top pick in the upcoming draft.
Below is the full order of the NBA draft (June 25-26).
