What to know: After trailing by as many as 17 in the second quarter of Game 1, Cleveland clawed its way back to tie the game at 93 late in the fourth. But Detroit showed its grit, ending the night on a 18-8 run to take a 1-0 lead. Everything about Game 1 pointed to this series being a slugfest.

What to know: Game 1 was all New York, all the time. The Knicks led by eight after the first quarter, 23 at half, 31 at the end of the third and ended the night with a 39-point victory. Jalen Brunson led the way, scoring 35 on 12-for-18 shooting, and as a team, the Knicks shot 63% from the field and 51% from 3. That'll get it done in the playoffs.
