20 Manchester United players heading away on international duty this week

Manchester United face a lengthy wait until their next assignment.

Erik ten Hag's side last played on Thursday, registering a 2-0 win over Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League. But you have to go back to September 4 for the last time they played a Premier League game.

That was an impressive 3-1 win over Arsenal at Old Trafford - the latest of four straight wins in the competition. Since then they have had only a couple of European commitments to keep them ticking over, ahead of the international break before they resume against Manchester City on October 2.

It promises to be a busy week away for United's stars too, with no fewer than 20 players hoping to get game time for their country between September 21 and 28.
