£100m signing, Kevin De Bruyne exit - alternate Man City transfer window
Manchester City have had a largely quiet transfer window so far, but there is still plenty of time for that to change.
Julian Alvarez is seemingly close to completing a move away from the Etihad Stadium to sign for Atletico Madrid. A deal which could reach up to £82million has been agreed upon between City and the La Liga club, as the Argentina international edges closer to a summer exit.
In terms of new signings, Savinho's arrival from Troyes remains the only new addition to Pep Guardiola's squad so far this summer. However, that has not stopped speculation from swirling all summer long about players who could still sign for City before the transfer window closes.
There have also been rumours about players that could still leave City before the September 2 deadline. In another world, City's transfer window, and therefore their squad, would look very different had some of those aforementioned rumours come true.

With that in mind, MEN Sport has taken a look at how an alternate transfer window may have panned out for City this summer.
Two midfielders that have been heavily linked with City this summer are Eberchi Eze and Bruno Guimaraes. Both players have been on international duty with their respective countries this summer, which has made the possibility of a transfer much trickier.
Eze has been heavily linked with signing for City, with suggestions that Crystal Palace would seek close to £60 million for his signature. In another world, City would have agreed a deal and have Eze as part of their squad for the upcoming campaign.
