$10,000 for unsportsmanlike conduct: The biggest fines at Wimbledon so far this year
Nick Kyrgios and Stefanos Tsitsipas are among those who have received hefty fines for their behaviour at this year’s Wimbledon.
At every tournament, players are often disciplined for their behaviour and both Tsitsipas and Kyrgios have a rich history of being sanctioned.
The two players faced one another in the third round of Wimbledon on Saturday in a match that proved to be a hostile encounter.
Tsitsipas received two warnings for hitting a ball into the crowd, while Kyrgios was cautioned for an audible obscenity.

The Australian insisted that his opponent be defaulted for allegedly hitting a spectator with the ball, though TV replays appeared to suggest otherwise.
Tsitsipas was not defaulted but has been fined $10,000 (£8,250) for the incident, while Kyrgios must now pay $4,000 (£3,300) for his inappropriate language.
After the match, the on-court drama between the players spilled into the media room as Tsitsipas accused Kyrgios of being a “bully.”
“It felt kind of a circus, in a way. We’re there to play tennis,” said the 23-year–old.
“He bullies the opponents,” said Tsitsipas. “He was probably a bully at school himself. I don’t like bullies. I don’t like people that put other people down.
“He has some good traits in his character, as well. But he also has a very evil side to him, which if it’s exposed, it can really do a lot of harm and bad to the people around him.”
In response, Kyrgios accused Tsitsipas of being bitter about losing and said he was unsure how he’d bullied his opponent.
