Indian Junior Women's Hockey Team Loses Again Against Germany
The Indian junior women's hockey team lost 4-6 to Germany in its fifth match of their tour of Europe on Monday. However, after conceding six goals, India rallied to score four goals and asserted themselves in the second half of the match. Sanjana Horo, Bhinima Dan and Kanika Siwach scored for India. Like their previous match, Germany scored early in the first quarter and doubled their lead soon after. Despite trailing, the Indian defence did well to successfully defend multiple penalty corners. In the final minutes of the first quarter, India won a penalty corner but the scoreline remained 2-0, in favour of Germany.

Bochum Secure Top-Flight Status Via Penalties At Duesseldorf
Bochum will play first-division football again next season after coming from three goals down and beating second-division Fortuna Duesseldorf away via a penalty shoot-out in Monday's relegation play-off second leg. Trailing 3-0 after the first leg at home, Bochum had little hope but were dragged back into the tie thanks to a superb performance from out-of-contract midfielder Kevin Stoeger, who laid on two goals before winning and converting a penalty. Bochum led 3-0 at full-time and the match went to penalties after a goalless extra period.
