Hardik Pandya came up with a brilliant delivery to get rid of Babar Azam during the Asia Cup 2023 Super 4 match between India and Pakistan on Monday. Babar looked extremely uncomfortable against the swing bowling of Jasprit Bumrah but it was Pandya who ended his stay at the crease. In the 10th over of the Pakistan innings, Pandya was able to produce a sharp in-swinging delivery that went right through Babar's defense and crashed into the stumps. Babar could only manage to score 10 runs off 24 deliveries and he was left visibly dumbstruck by the ball that Pandya produced for the wicket.

Rahul started the play on Monday with a positive approach and targeted the spin duo of Shadab Khan and Iftikhar Ahmed from the beginning. The right-handed batter played a number of big shots against them with a massive six off Shadab leaving both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in utter disbelief. In a video going viral on social media, both Rohit and Virat could be seen giving stunned reactions to the mammoth six by Rahul.

Rain interrupted proceedings in the blockbuster Asia Cup Super 4 clash between India and Pakistan in the Sri Lankan capital Colombo on Sunday. India were 147-2 in 24.1 overs after being invited to bat first, before rain forced players off the field and the showers soon got heavy. Virat Kohli was batting on eight, while KL Rahul, who replaced Shreyas Iyer in the XI, was unbeaten on 17. Earlier, Rohit Sharma (56) and Shubman Gill (58) put on 121 runs for the opening wicket before leg-spinner Shadab Khan and left-arm quick Shaheen Shah Afridi sent them back in back-to-back overs. The match has resumed now.

Djokovic beat Daniil Medvedev 6-3, 7-6 (7/5), 6-3 to clinch his fourth US Open crown and gain revenge for his loss to the Russian two years ago which shattered his dreams of a calendar Grand Slam.

Pakistan cricket team batter Fakhar Zaman won the hearts of both fans and experts after he helped the ground staff at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo to cover the ground after rain interrupted play during their Asia Cup 2023 match against India on Sunday. With India on 147/2 in 24.1 overs, the game was halted due to heavy rain and as soon as the umpire signalled, the ground staff rushed in with the covers, Zaman joined them in dragging the covers on to the field and his effort was applauded by the fans present at the stadium as well as the commentators.
