There are long delays on the M4 between Cardiff and Newport after a crash. Two lanes of the eastbound carriageway are closed due to an accident between J29 A48(M) to J28 A48 (Tredegar Park).
M62 closure live as stretch shut in both directions following smash
The M62 has been closed in both directions following an early morning crash. The motorway is completely shut from junction 22 Rishworth Moor, near Oldham, to junction 24 for Ainley Top in West Yorkshire.

Tameside traffic amid long delays and road blocked
Traffic was tailing back in parts of Tameside this morning following an incident in Mottram. Queues built up between the M67, at Hattersley, and Tintwistle for the A628 Woodhead Pass.

Emergency services dealt with a car fire on a busy route out of Cardiff on Thursday morning. One lane was closed on the A4232 northbound between Culverhouse Cross and junction 33 of the M4.
