PAK vs AUS: Lahore Makes Poignant Return For Pakistan vs Australia Test Series Decider

Test cricket returns to Lahore on Monday for the first time since a terror attack on a visiting team in 2009, with winner takes all for the Pakistan-Australia series finale. Pakistan's second-biggest city and its Gaddafi Stadium have not hosted a Test since the attack on the Sri Lankan team bus left six security personnel and two civilians dead. It drove international cricket away from Pakistan, forcing the home team to play their matches on neutral territory, mostly in the United Arab Emirates.

India Test Juggernaut Keeps Home Invincibility Rolling On

Much has changed in Indian cricket since the national team last lost a test series on home soil nearly 10 years ago. Former captain MS Dhoni retired from test cricket, Virat Kohli took up the mantle to lead India to the top of the rankings before stepping down this year and four different coaches have been in charge of the team. But India's relentless home domination continued. They have hosted 42 matches since England claimed a famous 2-1 victory in 2012. The hosts have lost two tests but won every series -- 15 in a row after the 2-0 sweep of Sri Lanka.

With this win, India registered a clean sweep in the two-match series. This was India's 14th straight victory across formats since Rohit was named captain of the team. It was a special Test for India pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who registered his first five-for on home soil in the first innings, before adding another three scalps to his name in the second innings. It was, however, Bumrah's wonderful gesture for Sri Lanka pacer Suranga Lakmal that ruled the internet.
