Tennis World No. 1 Jannik Sinner Cleared Of Wrongdoing Despite Failing Anti-Doping Tests - Explained

Tennis world number one Jannik Sinner has been cleared of any wrongdoing for two anti-doping violations earlier in the season, the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) announced Tuesday. Sinner provided an in-competition sample at the Indian Wells Masters on March 10, 2024 which contained the presence of a metabolite of clostebol at low levels, according to the ITIA. CAS Gives Reasons For Rejecting Vinesh Phogat's Appeal, Says "No Tolerance.."

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has ruled that athletes will have to ensure that they remain below their weight limit and no exception can be provided under any circumstance, while giving reasons for its rejection of Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat's appeal against her disqualification from the Paris Olympics final.
