However, in an old video that has surfaced on social media, a fan attacked WWE superstar Seth Rollins, who was returning backstage after his fight. The fan came from nowhere and jumped into Rollins, throwing him on the ground. The wrestler didn't hold back either and started to hit the fan. The referees then intervened and tried to pull the two apart while some security officials also arrived at the spot, looking to diffuse the situation.

Four senior players were booked after they allegedly thrashed a junior karate player for celebrating his birthday inside the Sports Authority of India (SAI) hostel here, an official said on Monday. The incident occurred on February 4 when the 16-year-old player was celebrating his birthday in a hostel room and the senior players allegedly beat him up with rods and kicks, said SAI Centre in charge Kuldeep Singh Barar. "On the complaint of the father of the junior player, a three-member committee was constituted by SAI to investigate the incident. The committee held the senior players guilty of assault and recommended strict action against them," he said.

Top Indian runner Avinash Sable smashed the 30-year-old men's 5000m national record at the Sound Running Track Meet at San Juan Capistrano, California in USA. Sable, who also holds the national record in his pet event of 3000m steeplechase and competed in Tokyo Olympics, clocked 13 minutes and 25.65 seconds while finishing 12th in the American Meet.
