Kane Williamson remains hopeful of taking part in the ODI World Cup in India later this year as he continues his recovery from an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury he had suffered in the IPL. New Zealand's limited overs captain had ruptured his ACL while fielding for Gujarat Titans in the IPL opener against Chennai Super Kings on March 31. Williamson is not looking too far ahead and is assessing his recovery on a weekly basis. The ICC event will be played in October-November.
