The Dutchman, who has been the manager at Ajax Amsterdam since 2017, will take over from interim manager Ralph Rangnick at the end of the season. His contract runs till June 2025. He has won the Dutch Eredivisie twice with Ajax and has also won the domestic Cup in Netherlands twice.
