SRH posted 277-3 to beat MI by 31 runs in a six-hitting festival at the Uppal Stadium. While Hardik has been under the scanner for his captaincy, a video has emerged on social media, claiming that bowling coach Lasith Malinga ignored the MI captain, who went on to sit beside an agitated Kieron Pollard.
The IPL 2024 match between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Wednesday turned to be a proper run fest with a combined 523 runs scored between the two sides. Sunrisers Hyderabad were in devastating form as they posted a total of 277/3 and in reply, Mumbai Indians played good cricket but ended up falling short by 31 runs. Wiese, who now plies his trade for Namibia, claimed that many foreign players in the roster of KKR were frustrated by Pandit's tough style of functioning during last year's IPL. However, Jamaican Russell, an integral part of KKR's core group, sounded different. “We've been working with him from last year. The 17th edition of the Indian Premier League opened to blockbuster viewership numbers with 16.8 crore viewers tuning in to watch the season's first game between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru on March 22, the tournament's official broadcaster said on Thursday. Disney Star said the opening day also registered a watch-time of 1276 crore minutes -- the highest-ever for the first day of any season. The watch-time minutes are a compilation of the time spent by each viewer in watching the game.
Delhi Capitals (DC) skipper Rishabh Pant will be playing his 100th Indian Premier League (IPL) match for the franchise when he takes to the field against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Thursday, becoming the first player to do so for his team.
