Gautam Gambhir's Message, 3 Weeks Before Series, That Cleared Sanju Samson's Perspective

Sanju Samson made the world stand up and take notice as he registered the second fastest T20I ton for an Indian, in the third and final match of the series against Bangladesh on Saturday. Samson, who is yet to be considered a regular in the Indian team, produced mind-boggling hitting at Hyderabad's Uppal stadium, scoring 47-ball 111 while opening the innings. Major Blow For India, Rohit Sharma May Miss All Important Test vs Australia. Reason Is...

India could miss the services of skipper Rohit Sharma during one of the first two Test matches in Australia due to personal reasons which have communicated to the BCCI. The Indian team will embark on tough five-Test series in Australia starting November 22 in Perth and there is a possibility that Rohit could give either the first or the second game in Adelaide (December 6-10) a miss. "There isn't any complete clarity about the situation. It is understood that Rohit has intimated to the BCCI that there is a possibility that due to a pressing personal matter, he might have to skip one of the two Tests at the beginning of the series," a BCCI source told PTI on conditions of anonymity.

"Please Learn From India": Ex-Star Says Huge Quality Is 'Missing' In Pakistan Cricket

Former Pakistan player Basit Ali slammed the Pakistani team following India's marvellous performance in the second T20I of the three-match series against Bangladesh at the Arun Jaitley Stadium here. Nitish Kumar Reddy shined with both bat and ball, scoring a fine half-century and picking up two wickets for which he was awarded the Player of the Match award. India secured an 86-run win over Bangladesh. "The thought process is very important, which is missing in Pakistani cricket. India rested Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal but nobody rests in our team. So, please learn something from India," Basit Ali said on his YouTube channel.

Ex-England Captain Michael Vaughan Says Joe Root Struggles Against Only One Bowler. He Is Indian

Former England captain Michael Vaughan waxed lyrical about England star batter Joe Root, as the latter notched up a 35th Test century, going past the tally of cricket icons like Sunil Gavaskar and Brian Lara. However, despite Root's consistent exploits, Vaughan was open to admit his weakness. In fact, Vaughan said that Root only struggles against one bowler in the entire world, and went on to reason why. That bowler is none other than the No. 1-ranked ICC Test bowler in the world - India's Jasprit Bumrah.

With "Best In The World" Praise For India, Bangladesh Star's Blunt Admission For Own Team

Indian players are the best in the world and can bat well in any conditions, said Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed while conceding that batting frailties have let down the visitors in the T20I series, which the hosts lead 2-0 with one match left to play. Bangladesh face a potential series whitewash after losing the second T20I by 86 runs, having lost the first match by 7 wickets. "(There is) no doubt that they are (the) best in the world, not only in their (home) conditions but all over the world. They are more experienced and better players than us," Taskin told the media on Wednesday.

Watch: Riyan Parag Tries Controversial Action, Ends Up Bowling Rare No-Ball

The second T20I between India and Bangladesh saw a delivery by Riyan Parag being called a no-ball for a very rare reason. Bowling his very first over in the 11th over of the Bangladesh innings, Parag decided to switch things up on the fourth ball. Parag tried a bizarre sling action, somewhat similar to former India batter Kedar Jadhav's wide action. The trick backfired massively, as Parag ended up stepping outside the pitch tramlines, and rightly saw the ball signalled a no-ball.
