The legendary cricketer is also finding current ODI cricket, a bit of a drag and wouldn't mind a change in format. Three of the Border-Gavaskar Tests between India and Australia recently ended inside two-and-a-half days, leading to a massive criticism of pitches, but Tendulkar said it is part and parcel of cricketer's job to play on different surfaces.

Ireland to host Team India for a three-match T20I series set to be played in Malahide between August 18-23, before visiting England for a three-match ODI tour from September 20 to 26. Cricket Ireland on Friday announced a bumper international schedule for 2023, with the home white-ball series against Bangladesh and India lined up. Ireland begin their busy schedule with a multi-format tour of Bangladesh between March 18 to April 8, consisting of three ODIs, three T20Is and a one-off Test match. They'll then tour the sub-continent, with two-Test series against Sri Lanka slotted between April 16 and 28.

Former England captain Paul Collingwood heaped praises on India's star player Virat Kohli. He said that the batting maestro is back in form and now he is "a threat to all countries". Kohli brought up his 28th century in the format.
