Regarded by many as the greatest batter of all time, former India star Sachin Tendulkar had a marathon cricketing, which lasted nearly 25 years. Having made his debut back in 1989, Tendulkar played with different generations of players, before hanging up his boots in 2013. Former India opening batter Virender Sehwag, who played the majority of his cricket with Tendulkar, has revealed the reason behind the former India captain's 24-year long career.

Speaking at the India Today Conclave, batting great Sachin Tendulkar expressed his disappointment over the umpire's call in the current DRS format.

Superstar Rajinikanth was in attendance at the Wankhede Stadium during the first ODI between India and Australia on Friday. The cameras spotted him watching the game from the stands after which, several photos of him went viral on social media. India spinner Kuldeep Yadav and all-rounder Washington Sundar met the veteran actor, before leaving for Visakhapatnam, the venue for the second ODI that takes place on Sunday. Kuldeep took to Instagram to share a couple of photos of him with Rajinikanth.

Former Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhtar is currently taking part in the Legends League Cricket. Akhtar is part of the Asia Lions, led by former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi. The ongoing season of the LLC is being played in Qatar with three teams -- Indian Maharajas, Asia Lions and World Giants. In a video shared on his YouTube channel, Akhtar was seen having a healthy banter with former India spinner Harbhajan Singh. In the video, Akhtar shared an incident from the Faislabad Test during India's tour of Pakistan in the 2005-06 season.

India lost the inaugural World Test Championship final to New Zealand in 2021, as Kane Williamson's side chased down the target of 139 in Southampton. The WTC final will be played from June 7. Collingwood said that India have a very good chance this time in the WTC final.
