MUIRFIELD, Scotland — Playing in borrowed clothes doesn't seem to bother Jessica Korda at the Women's Open.
Leona Maguire shot a level par 71 on the first day of the AIG Women's Open at Muirfield to stay within six shots of leader Hinako Shibuno after the former champion produced a "frightening" display of putting.
Hinaki Shibuno produced a blistering round to take the lead at the Women’s Open, with sisters Jessica and Nelly Korda giving chase. Muirfield was playing host to the Women’s Open for the first time and with blustery winds, it was a tough test for the players. Ad/> Shibuno had the best of the conditions, dodging the early rain and getting in before the wind picked up, and she took advantage to sign for a 65 to sit at six-under.
