ERC Endurance-Ducati has taken to social media to send words of support to Lorenzo Zanetti after the Italian was injured in an accident at Misano in Italy last weekend. Zanetti was scheduled to contest the FIM Endurance World Championship season-opening 24 Heures Motos next week but had to undergo surgery following his crash in the Campionato Italiano Velocità event at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli. A post on Zanetti’s Facebook page read: “Too bad the weekend ended this way.

From November 18 to 20, 2022, the WorldSBK returns to Australia for its final round. The production-based series will return to Australia for the first time since February 2020, right before the global coronavirus outbreak began, to conclude this year's 12-round campaign. The season finals will be held on Phillip Island from November 18-20, making it a back-to-back event with the previous round in Mandalika, Indonesia.

Falcon Racing has no plans to miss out on top-five finishes in this year’s FIM Endurance World Championship. After landing one season-high top-five Superstock category placing in 2021, Falcon Racing Team Manager Mickaël Le Dévéhat is targeting the top five at all rounds of the 2022 EWC, which gets underway with the 24 Heures Mots at Le Mans from 14-17 April. Falcon has pooled the respective skills of French quartet David Chevallier, Théo Eissen, Loïc Millet and Tanguy Zaepfel to ride its Yamaha YZF – R1 to on-track success and Le Dévéhat’s hopes are high.
MOTO AIN is ready to race on in the FIM Endurance World Championship after securing a top trio of riders for the 2022 season-opening 24 Heures Motos led by former MotoGP racer Bradley Smith. Briton Smith, who has never previously competed in an EWC day and night race, joins French promise Corentin Perolari and experienced Italian Claudio Corti in MOTO AIN’s new-look Formula EWC line-up. The announcement, made following the Pre-Test for next month’s 24 Heures Motos at Le Mans this week, marks the end of a tough period for the French team, which stepped up to the EWC’s headlining category last season.
