The FIM Endurance World Championship will be live on J SPORTS in Japan starting with this weekend’s 24 Heures Motos from Le Mans in France. In a year when the EWC is due to return to Japan for the legendary Suzuka 8 Hours, J SPORTS’ commitment to the series will also extend to highlights of all rounds of the championship in addition to the live coverage of the full season schedule.
Matej Zagar will make an immediate return to the World Championships stage as wild card for the FIM Speedway GP of Croatia in Donji Kraljevec on April 30. Zagar left the Speedway GP series last year, competing regularly between 2013 to 2021 and previously in 2006-2007. The race to win the FIM Endurance World Championship, which includes the revived 24H SPA EWC Motos, will be played out live on TV and on demand in Belgium following confirmation of an agreement between EWC promoter Discovery Sports Events and RTBF. Facilitated by Zelos Media, a subsidiary of the group founded by Freddy Tacheny, the agreement brings the ultimate high-speed test of bike and rider to audiences throughout Belgium, starting with the 24 Heures Motos at Le Mans in France from tomorrow (16-17 April).

With qualifying results this season based on the average time of the fastest two riders from each team, rather than three previously, the laps of Karel Hanika (Czech Republic) and Marvin Fritz (Germany) were used to determine which team lines up at the front for the start of the big race, which is scheduled to begin at 15h00 CET tomorrow (Saturday).
