SERT have high hopes for EWC Suzuka 8 Hours

Current FIM Endurance World Championship leading team, Yoshimura Suzuki Endurance Racing Team Motul, enter the third round of the championship, the 43rd Coca Cola Suzuka 8 Hours with high hopes of a podium finish, confirmed by a promising first day of testing. Thanks to its victory in the 24 Heures Motos of Le Mans (France) and its fourth place in the 24 Hours of Spa EWC Motos (Belgium), the Yoshimura SERT Motul team leads the provisional world championship standings by 15 points. The Japanese event marks the halfway point of the season.

The Austria-based Yamaha squad set a 2m07.375s best during the morning running on the 5.281-kilometre Suzuka Circuit, but it was Team HRC that completed Tuesday’s sessions with a day-topping time of 2m06.966s set early in the afternoon.
