Hard-working Lewandowski all set for EWC season finale
Bartłomiej Lewandowski will be one of the hardest working members of the FIM Endurance World Championship paddock when the Bol d’Or celebrates turning 100 at Circuit Paul Ricard from 15-18 September. As well as holding the role of Team Manager for Team LRP Poland, Lewandowski is the BMW-powered squad’s Blue Rider, sharing the #90 Formula EWC entry with Pepijn Pijsterbosch and Dominik Vincon.
ADSS 97 hoping for Truelove in EWC
FIM Endurance World Cup team ADSS 97 has a new recruit for the Bol d’Or 24 hours, the deciding round of the three-event Superstock season. The British outfit has called up Matt Truelove to partner Chris Platt and James Edwards on its Dunlop-equipped Kawasaki ZX10-R.

Marvin Fritz will start the 100th-anniversary Bol d’Or on Saturday afternoon with one aim: to win the deciding round of the 2022 FIM Endurance World Championship. Fritz and team-mates Niccolò Canepa and Karel Hanika are without a victory in the EWC this season despite the rapid pace of their YART – Yamaha Official Team EWC-entered Yamaha YZF-R1.

Wójcik Racing Team doesn’t want its fifth place in the 24H SPA EWC Motos to mark the highlight of its FIM Endurance World Championship season and is therefore targeting an even better result when Circuit Paul Ricard hosts the 100th-anniversary Bol d’Or this weekend. The Yamaha-powered, Dunlop-equipped Polish squad’s #77 entry features Mathieu Gines, Dan Linfoot and Sheridan Morais and Team Manager Adam Stępień has high hopes.

Mikkel Michelsen ruled out of Swedish Speedway Grand Prix with broken ankle
European champion Mikkel Michelsen has been forced to withdraw from the FIM Speedway Grand Prix of Sweden through injury. The 28-year-old broke his ankle in the warm-up for his Polish club Lublin’s PGE Ekstraliga play-off semi-final at the start of September, but continued racing in the weeks that followed.
