Lo extraño sucedió ya de noche en Miami Gardens, cuando la FIA anunció una sanción extra de otros cinco segundos por exceder los límites de la pista que le sitúa undécimo en la clasificación oficial del gran premio, ya sin puntos para el asturiano.
