Cole Palmer Scores Four As Improving Chelsea Hit Everton For Six

Cole Palmer scored four goals to put Chelsea within touching distance of the Premier League's top six after a 6-0 win over Everton on Monday. The England international has been a shining light in an otherwise disappointing campaign for the Blues and moved level with Manchester City striker Erling Haaland's 20 Premier League goals in the race for the Golden Boot. Palmer killed the game as a contest as he completed his hat-trick inside 30 minutes before Nicolas Jackson also struck before half-time.

Premier League: Liverpool's Title Bid Dented By Manchester United Draw, Spurs Go Fourth

Liverpool were held to a damaging 2-2 draw by Manchester United as they handed the initiative to Arsenal in the Premier League title race, while Tottenham moved into fourth place with a 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest on Sunday. Jurgen Klopp's side would have gone top with a victory against their bitter rivals at Old Trafford. But despite taking the lead through Luis Diaz's 23rd minute strike, Liverpool couldn't deliver the knockout blow. They wasted several chances to increase their advantage before Bruno Fernandes alertly pounced on Jarell Quansah's wayward pass to score from just inside the Liverpool half in the 50th minute.

Arsenal Back On Top After Easy Win At Brighton

Mikel Arteta believes Arsenal are better prepared for the Premier League title run-in after the heartbreak of missing out last season after his side went top of the table with a 3-0 win at Brighton on Saturday. The roles were reversed from just under a year ago when the Seagulls won 3-0 at the Emirates to realistically end the Gunners' hopes of a first Premier League title since 2004. Twelve months on, Arteta's men have mature and appear ready to meet the challenge of beating Liverpool and Manchester City to end their two-decade wait to win the league.

Hat-trick Hero Cole Palmer Fires Chelsea To Last-Gasp Win Over Manchester United

Cole Palmer scored twice deep into stoppage time to complete a hat-trick as Chelsea stunned Manchester United 4-3 on Thursday, all but ending their hopes of qualifying for next season's Champions League. Erik ten Hag's men appeared set for a vital win after storming back from 2-0 down to lead 3-2 in a breathless game containing a combined 47 shots. But boyhood United fan Palmer turned the game on its head, levelling from the penalty spot in the 100th minute and then netting the winner moments later in a frantic end to the game at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal Cruise Past Luton Town To Return To Premier League Summit

Arsenal coasted to a 2-0 win over struggling Luton on Wednesday to dislodge Liverpool from the top of the Premier League table, once again edging ahead in a thrilling three-way title tussle. Gunners captain Martin Odegaard opened the scoring midway through the first half and an own goal just before the break gave the much-changed home side a cushion. The result lifts Arsenal to 68 points -- one ahead of Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool, who host bottom side Sheffield United on Thursday.
