Cricket World Cup 2023: Pacer Jofra Archer Set To Travel With England Squad As Reserve Player

England speedster Jofra Archer will travel to India for the ODI World Cup with the Three Lions squad as a reserve player. Archer was a notable absentee from England's 15-man squad for the World Cup due to an elbow injury. However, on Monday England's national selector, Luke Wright confirmed that the 28-year-old pacer will travel with the squad as a reserve. "Jofra Archer will be travelling with the squad to India. He is one of the reserves but we also need to look after him, focus on his rehab," Wright said as quoted from Sky Sports. Video Claims Rohit Sharma Forgot Passport On Way To Airport After Asia Cup Final, Reminding Fans Of Virat Kohli's Old Quote

Sunday brought in great news for the Indian cricket team. The Rohit Sharma-led side put up clinical show to win the Asia Cup 2023 final against Sri Lanka in Colombo by 10 wickets.  A fairytale spell from Mohammed Siraj skittled through the Sri Lankan batting order on Sunday in the final of the Asia Cup. The 29-year-old pacer made history, not just for himself but for the country. Siraj became the first Indian bowler to take four wickets in an over in men's internationals.
