Babar Azam Reveals Pakistan's Champions Trophy Jersey. Unforgiving Internet Says: "First Learn To Play"

Babar Azam needs to fire if Pakistan are to do well in Champions Trophy 2025. After failures in recent World Cups (both ODIs and T20Is), the Champions Trophy 2025 at home will be an acid test for the Mohammad Rizwan-led side to prove their mettle. Babar Azam is a big factor in their scheme of things. In fact, Babar Azam has been zeroed in on to open the innings for Pakistan after Saim Ayub was ruled out due to injury. The former Pakistan captain had a decent run in the build-up to the Champions Trophy, but it's nowhere close to being called awe-inspiring.

Sunil Gavaskar Suggests Rahul Dravid To Roped In After Rohit Sharma's Dismissal vs England: "A Recent Coach..."

Cricket, unlike football, has had several rule changes in recent. From two bouncer rule to DRS to non-striker's run out, cricket has not been averse to change in rule. One of the recent rule changes also mandates that batters to not change ends when he or she hits the ball in the air and gets caught out. This essentially means the new batter will have to face the bowler, and the not the non-striker. It has been quite a few years since this rule was implemented. However, former India captain Sunil Gavaskar raised an interesting point. He said that Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) which decides the rules of the game should have the international experience of greats like Rahul Dravid, Graeme Smith.

"It's Too Early To Judge": Australia Coach Backs Test Debutant Cooper Connolly

Australia coach Andrew McDonald remains optimistic about Cooper Connolly's Test future despite a subdued debut, insisting the young batting all-rounder has plenty of time to cement his place in the team's top six. Connolly was handed a whirlwind debut in just his fifth first-class game, with selectors expecting challenging batting conditions in the second Test against Sri Lanka at Galle.
