Resuming at 35 for 7, Puducherry folded in 35.3 overs with the 20-year-old Sharma claiming all the remaining three wickets, returning with figures of 5 for 16 to go with his first innings figures of 5 for 74.

West Indies batter Alzarri Joseph survived despite being run out in a bizarre incident during the second T20I match against Australia in Adelaide on Sunday. However, the batter was not given out as none of the Australian players including the bowler appealed for it. Ayush Badoni smashed a magnificent hundred as Delhi's batting finally fired in unison to post 381 for six declared in their second innings, setting a target of 327 for Himachal Pradesh in their Ranji trophy Group D match in Dharamsala on Sunday. Badoni hit 12 fours and a six in his 115-ball 111-run knock after the opening duo of Anuj Rawat (54 off 32 balls) and Yash Dhull (82 off 81 balls) gave a flying start to Delhi's second innings.

India batter KL Rahul hit the nets ahead of the third Test against England, starting Thursday, February 15 in Rajkot. Rahul, who missed the second Test due to a quadricep injury, was added to India's squad, along with all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, for the remaining three Tests. However, Rahul and Jadeja's participation will depend on the fitness clearance from BCCI's medical team. "The national selection committee included senior players Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul in the squad but their inclusion will be subject to clearance by the BCCI's medical team," the BCCI had said in their official squad release.
