"Had I Not Fought With Gautam Gambhir...": Retired India Star's Big Revelation

Former Indian cricket team batter Manoj Tiwary opened up about how a fight with then skipper Gautam Gambhir cut short his stint with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Tiwary was an integral part of the side between 2010 and 2013 with the batter scoring the winning boundary when the franchise claimed their first IPL title under Gambhir's captaincy. However, in an interview with Anandabazar Patrika following his retirement from domestic cricket, Tiwary said that he would have played for KKR for 2-3 more years if the spat with Gambhir did not happen and the added association with the franchise would likely have resulted in more financial gains for the cricketer.

"You Are Not The Whole Team": Mohammad Hafeez Reveals Tough Talk With Babar Azam

Not much has gone right with the Pakistan cricket team since the ODI World Cup 2023. The team's poor show in the marquee event saw Babar Azam stepping down as captain while a plethora of other changes were also made in the backroom staff. Mohammad Hafeez was appointed as the national team director, with the bosses hoping for a change in fortunes, but little went as planned, with Pakistan losing heavily on the tours of Australia and New Zealand. Having seen his tenure as Pakistan's team director ending early, Hafeez has now revealed the 'tough conversation' he had with Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan during his time in charge.

6 Sixes In 1 Over: Andhra Pradesh Youngster Makes History, BCCI Issues 'Alert'. Watch

In cricket, there are several feats which are widely celebrated. Hitting six sixes in an over is one of the them. Who can forget the six sixes hit by Yuvraj Singh at the 2007 T20 World Cup off England's Stuart Broad. West Indies legend Sir Gary Sobers was the first person to achieve the feat in a major match. Playing in a County Championship for Nottinghamshire in 1968, Garfield Sobers hit Glamorgan's Malcolm Nash for six sixes in an over. Then Ravi Shastri became the first Indian to hit six sixes in an over in 1985 for Bombay against Baroda.

IND vs ENG: Trailing 1-2 In Series, England Considering Ollie Robinson For 4th Test Against India

Trailing hosts India 1-2 in the ongoing red-ball series, England are considering bringing in their specialist pacer Ollie Robinson for the fourth Test against India in Ranchi as they struggle for the right balance in the playing eleven going into the next fixture, according to ESPNcricinfo. If England do decide to go with Robinson, the 30-year-old will make his first appearance in the ongoing tour. The visitors have changed their seam bowling options throughout the first three Tests.

"If It Does Spin From Ball One...": Ollie Pope On Pitch Ahead Of India vs England Ranchi Test

England would not mind a rank turner in the fourth Test because assistance to spinners from the word go will make it a level-playing field, vice captain Ollie Pope said on Wednesday. The Tests in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Rajkot all had sporting pitches, which were not predominantly spin-friendly and had something for everyone. "If it does spin from ball one, it takes the toss out of the equation, then it's an even playing field," Pope told reporters in Ranchi.

"I thought we were done, to be honest," admitted the relieved Marsh. "Timmy David is extremely calm and had a lot of confidence in his ability towards the end. We are very lucky to have him. It was a great game of cricket."
