NEW DELHI : The winners of next month's World Test Championship (WTC) final between Australia and South Africa will take home $3.6 million following a significant increase in the prize money by the governing International Cricket Council on Thursday.

The report claimed that the fast bowler will soon travel to India but no confirmed date was mentioned. Hazlewood left India after IPL 2025 was suspended for a week amid rising border tensions between India and Pakistan. However, following the ceasefire, BCCI announced that the tournament will resume on May 17 and the final will take place on June 3. The matter is being discussed higher up than me. At ground level, we are focusing on preps for the WTC final,” Cricket South Africa (CSA) Director Of Cricket Enoch Nkwe said according to Sydney Morning Herald.
