Harbhajan Singh Picks 3 Top Batters In The World. No Virat Kohli Or Rohit Sharma

Former Indian cricket team spinner Harbhajan Singh did not include both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma while picking the top three batters in the world. The top pick for the cricketer, who won the 2007 T20 World Cup as well as the 2011 ODI World Cup, was the legendary Sachin Tendulkar. He also named former South Africa all-rounder Jacques Kallis and West Indies great Brian Lara as his other two options. In a video that has gone viral on social media, Harbhajan was asked to choose the top three batters in the world and he went for three legendary options rather than any player who are currently playing the game.

Ind vs Zim 4th T20I: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill Smash Zimbabwe Bowlers; India Secure Series With 3-1 Lead

Yashasvi Jaiswal's flair was complemented by skipper Shubman Gill's poise as young Indian team cantered to a 10-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in the fourth T20 International, taking an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match series. This is the second time that India beat Zimbabwe by 10 wickets after a similar-margin win at the same venue in 2016. Jaiswal and Gill's approach was in complete contrast as the Mumbai southpaw went hammer and tongs during his unbeaten 93-run knock while the skipper (58 not out) was ready to play the second fiddle in a chase of 153 which was completed in 15.2 overs.

Former Pakistan captain Ramiz Raja has heaped praises on Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh, who was the joint-highest wicket-taker in the tournament along with Afghanistan's Fazalhaq Farooqi. Both the players picked 17 wickets each.

Court Says Some Games Fixed During India vs South Africa Series In 2000

A Delhi court, which framed charges against four accused in the 2000 cricket match-fixing scandal case, said some matches of the India-South Africa test and ODI series were fixed and attempts were made to fix other fixtures. The court said, "Investigation also concluded that some of the matches were fixed and an attempt was made to fix some other matches." It said noting the investigation that in the first test match at Mumbai from February 24 to 28, "It was decided that the South African Team will not score more than 250 runs in an inning and the same is evident from the statement of Pieter Strydom and Hansie Cronje before the King's Commission." In the second Test match at Bengaluru from March 2 to 6, the court noted that, "Though Hansie Cronje had spoken to other players as per the statements made before the King's Commission, this match was not fixed although an attempt was made to fix it." Noting the evidence before it, the court said that the first ODI on March 9 in Kochi was a fixed match.

India To Not Travel To Pakistan For Champions Trophy 2025? BCCI Vice-President Rajeev Shukla Breaks Silence

The Champions Trophy 2025 that is set to be hosted completely by Pakistan has become a hot topic. It is the uncertainty of India's participation at the event that has made the major ICC tournament a talking point. Given that the entire event is being hosted by Pakistan, India would be needing to visit the nation in case it takes part in the event.
