Real Madrid mounted another scintillating Champions League comeback on Wednesday, netting twice in the final minutes against Manchester City to force the semi-final into extra time before Karim Benzema handed them the lead from the penalty spot.
Manchester City supporters are shocked to the core after Real Madrid staged the most unlikely comeback in their Champions League showdown at the Santiago Bernabeu on Wednesday night. City had one foot in the Paris showpiece after Riyad Mahrez scored.
Real Madrid produced one of the great Champions League comebacks to defeat Manchester City 3-1 after extra time at the Bernabeu, and go through 6-5 on aggregate. Even when substitute Rodrygo nipped in front of Ederson to steer home Karim Benzema's pull-back in the last minute to draw level with Riyad Mahrez's City goal, a Real win seemed a tall order.
