Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) achieved the unthinkable at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai to defeat Chennai Super Kings. It was RCB's first win against CSK in Chennai since the inaugural edition in 2008. RCB showed prowess in all quarter to win by 50 runs - the third biggest defeat margin for CSK in the IPL. Batting first, RCB scored 196/7 and then restricted CSK to 146/8 in 20 overs. After the match, RCB's Virat Kohli could be seen having an animated discussion with CSK's left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed.
