ISL: Heated contest earns Odisha FC, ATK Mohun Bagan 1-1 draw
Odisha FC saw them delay ATK Mohun Bagan’s chances of sealing playoff berth as the Kalinga Warriors held 10-man Mariners to a 1-1 draw in their Indian Super League match at Tilak Maidan Stadium in Goa on Thursday. The match began on the fast lane with two goals coming inside the first eight minutes on either side of the park as Redeem Tlang’s opener for Odisha was cancelled by Joni Kauko’s equalizer from the spot. Javi Hernandez missed another penalty for Odisha in the 24th minute while substitute Liridon Krasniqi’s powerful strike shook the crosspiece one minute from full time before Roy Krishna, who came in as a substitute the 54th minute, was given marching orders after seeing his second yellow of the match in the added time.
